1. Information Collection and Use

To provide the core features of the App (such as sync telemetry, step count mechanics, and real-time physical interaction), we request access to certain sensitive device features and permissions. All data gathered through these permissions is processed locally on your device. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit your personal or sensitive data to external servers.

A. Location Data (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION)

Purpose: The App accesses your device's location to fetch local weather conditions and display your general location name as part of the dashboard interface.

Storage & Transmission: Location coordinates are processed on-device and sent directly to a weather API provider to retrieve weather updates. We do not store your location history or share it with third parties for marketing or tracking purposes.

B. Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO)

Purpose: The App accesses the microphone sensor to measure ambient noise levels (decibels) for audio-reactive gameplay elements.

Storage & Transmission: The audio signals are processed locally on-device in real-time. We do not record, store, or transmit any voice or ambient audio data.

C. Camera (CAMERA)

Purpose: The App requests camera access for gameplay elements and visual sensor features.

Storage & Transmission: Camera feeds are processed locally in real-time. The App does not capture, record, store, or transmit photos, videos, or visual feeds.

D. Biometric Data (USE_BIOMETRIC)

Purpose: The App requests biometric authentication to secure access to the interface (Neural Hardware Link).

Storage & Transmission: The App uses the standard Android system BiometricPrompt API. We do not collect, access, or store your fingerprint or facial recognition templates. The authentication process is completely managed by the secure subsystem of your Android Operating System.

E. Physical Activity & Steps (ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION)

Purpose: The App accesses your physical activity sensors to detect steps walked today, which are converted into in-game currency (Chrono Shields).

Storage & Transmission: Step counts are processed locally from the device's step sensor. This data is not uploaded to any external database or shared with third parties.

2. Third-Party Service Providers

We may employ third-party SDKs or APIs to facilitate our App (e.g., to fetch weather data or show leaderboard integration). These third parties have access to your device telemetry only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

3. Data Security

The security of your personal data is important to us. Because Sensor Soul: The Survivor processes virtually all gameplay and sensor data locally on your device, your risk of a remote data breach is minimized. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.

4. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
