Privacy Policy of PixelGuard AI Security
OMVAGMINE PRIVATE LIMITED operates the PixelGuard AI Security mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Executive Summary: Zero-Data-Collection Philosophy
PixelGuard AI Security operates on a strict local-only processing policy.
We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data, files, photos, or usage logs to any external cloud servers.
We do not use third-party analytics, trackers, advertising networks, or telemetry libraries that monitor your behavior.
All security scanning, file shredding, intruder capture, and application locking functions are performed completely offline on your physical device.
2. Information Accessed and How It Is Used
To provide security and privacy features, the App requests permissions to access certain device components. Here is how each permission and functional data type is handled:
A. Camera & Intruder Captures (Intruder Service)
What we access: Your device’s front-facing camera.
Why we access it: When the "Failed Password Intruder" feature is enabled, the App uses the front camera to capture a photograph of anyone who repeatedly enters an incorrect PIN or pattern to unlock your device.
B. Device Storage & Media Access (File Shredder, Duplicate Cleaner, Junk Cleaner)
What we access: Write/Read permissions for internal and external storage, including documents, cache directories, duplicates, and large files.
Why we access it: To allow you to scan and clean junk cache, identify duplicate images, and securely shred/overwrite files to make them unrecoverable.
Data storage: We do not read your files for any other purpose, nor do we send any file contents to any servers. Deleted and shredded files are permanently destroyed locally.
C. Notification Access (Scam Guard / Notification Scanner)
What we access: Incoming system notifications.
Why we access it: To inspect the text content of incoming SMS or message alerts for blacklisted phishing links and fraudulent URLs.
Data storage: All scanning takes place in memory in real-time. Notification content is never saved, logged, or sent to external servers.
D. Installed Applications & Usage Access (App Lock & App Manager)
What we access: The list of packages installed on your device and device usage stats.
Why we access it: To let you select which apps to lock and to detect when a locked app is brought to the foreground so the App Lock screen overlay can be shown.
Data storage: This information is checked locally and is never shared.
E. Wi-Fi & Network Connection Details (Wi-Fi Security / Network Analyzer)
What we access: Network state, Wi-Fi SSID, and connection information.
Why we access it: To check the security status of your connected Wi-Fi network (detecting open ports or unencrypted hotspots).
Data storage: Inspected locally in real-time; no network history is tracked or sent online.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
Since we do not collect or store any of your data on servers, we do not retain any of your personal information.
Intruder Photos: You can delete photos manually from the "Intruder Alerts" log. All photos are deleted automatically if you uninstall the App.
Diagnostic History Logs: Stored locally in a JSON file inside the App's private folder. You can clear this log at any time from the settings menu.
4. Children’s Privacy
Our App does not collect any personal information, and is safe for users of all ages. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
5. Permissions List Summary
Depending on the features you choose to use, the App may request:
android.permission.CAMERA (Intruder detection photo captures)
android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Cleaning duplicates and shredding files)
android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Required on Android 11+ to perform secure shredding of user-selected files)
