Our Application is designed to respect and protect your privacy. The Application operates entirely offline and stores all user data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, upload, or transmit any of your personal data to external servers or third parties.


2. Permissions We Request & Why

To provide its core features, the Application requests the following system permissions. All data accessed via these permissions remains strictly on your device:


Contacts Access (READ_CONTACTS, WRITE_CONTACTS):


Purpose: Used to read, create, edit, delete, merge, and clean duplicate contacts.

Data Handling: The contacts database is read locally to display it in the Application. No contact information is ever uploaded to any server.

Camera (CAMERA):


Purpose: Used to scan QR codes for contact sharing, scan business cards for text recognition (using offline OCR), and take photos for contact profiles.

Data Handling: Camera frames are processed on-device in real-time. No images or videos are transmitted.

Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO):


Purpose: Used for speech-to-text voice dictation (such as adding contact notes or searching by voice) and recording brief audio clips during emergency broadcasts.

Data Handling: Audio is processed locally.

Storage & Local Files (path_provider, file_picker):


Purpose: Used to save Application preferences locally and to import or export contacts via vCard (.vcf) files.

Data Handling: Files are stored in the Application's secure private directory on your device.

Location Data (Simulated):


Purpose: The Application contains location reminders and mapping features. These features use simulated/user-selected coordinates or local storage to help you keep track of contact locations.

Data Handling: Real-time background GPS tracking is not used or transmitted.

3. Third-Party Services

Our Application uses certain tools that run strictly on your device:


Google ML Kit Text Recognition: Used offline to recognize text from business cards. No data is sent to Google servers.

System Launchers: When you make a call, send an SMS, or send an email, the Application uses your device's native dialer or messaging clients. These activities are subject to the privacy policies of your device carrier and those respective applications.

4. Data Retention & Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device:


Your data is as secure as your physical device. We recommend using device-level security (PIN, pattern, or biometrics) to protect your data.

Uninstalling the Application will delete all local Application data (such as app preferences and custom location reminders). System contacts will remain unaffected unless modified inside the Application.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this policy periodically for any changes.
